1,Product Introduction:

Hot melt luminous paint (also known as self-luminous / phosphorescent hot melt road marking paint) is a special road marking material made by adding phosphorescent fluorescent pigments to traditional hot melt marking paint. It can absorb and store light energy during the day or when there is a light source, and continuously emit light at night or in the absence of lighting, achieving the "active luminous" effect of the marking lines. It is the core material for creating luminous walkways, sports fields, and low-light roads.

Appearance: Uniform color, no bubbles / cracks, neat edges, and even distribution of glass beads.

Construction thickness: 1.8–2.0mm, with a deviation of ≤±0.2mm.

1) Main components:

Matrix: Thermoplastic resin (EVA/petroleum resin), pigment (titanium dioxide/heat-resistant yellow), filler (calcium carbonate), additives.

Reflective unit: High refractive index glass beads (refractive index ≥ 1.5, sphericity ≥ 80%), premixed 15% + surface spread 0.3–0.5 kg/.

Luminescent unit: Long afterglow phosphor (strontium aluminate europium, 10%–15%), absorbs light during the day and emits light at night (afterglow ≥ 8 hours).

2) Light Emission Mechanism

Reflection (from vehicle lights): Glass microbeads refract light → back reflection → light is reflected back into the driver's eyes

Luminescence (in the absence of lights): Fluorescent powder absorbs solar energy/energy from vehicle lights → releases visible light (blue-green/yellow-green) at night, with brightness ≥ 3cd/m² (in darkness).
