1. The 50-60% Rule: For optimal retroreflection, glass beads must be embedded at exactly 50-60% of their diameter. Too shallow? They get swept away by tires. Too deep? They lose their "cat-eye" effect.
2. The Binder Secret: Standard resins can’t handle UV degradation and heavy wheel loads simultaneously. Our latest thermoplastic formulation uses a reinforced binder that "locks" the beads in place even under extreme temperature fluctuations.
3. Hardness vs. Elasticity: A paint that is too hard will crack; too soft will "swallow" the beads. We balance the Shore D hardness to ensure durability without sacrificing optical performance.
