Latest company news about How to maintain a high-pressure airless sprayer

As an important equipment in the fields of industrial coating, building decoration, etc., the stable operation of high-pressure airless sprayer directly affects the construction efficiency and coating quality. Doing a good job of daily maintenance can not only reduce the frequency of failures, but also extend the service life of the equipment and reduce the overall cost. The following are the core maintenance points of high-pressure airless sprayer.

I. After each use: clean in time to avoid residual blockage

1. Thoroughly clean the paint channel

After stopping, immediately rinse the spray gun, nozzle, high-pressure pipe and pump body with the corresponding solvent (such as clean water, thinner). For oil-based paint, it is necessary to use a special thinner for circulation cleaning; water-based paint can be rinsed with clean water to ensure that there is no residual solidification of paint to prevent clogging of the nozzle or damage to the pump body seal during the next use.

2. Check the status of key components

Disassemble the nozzle to check for wear or blockage. If the nozzle aperture is found to be larger and the atomization is uneven, it needs to be replaced in time; check whether the high-pressure pipe has bulges, cracks, and whether the connection is loose to avoid safety hazards caused by high-pressure leakage.

II. Regular in-depth maintenance: pay attention to the loss of core components

1. Pump body and seal maintenance

Every 50-100 hours of use, check the plunger rod, seal ring and other vulnerable parts in the pump body. If the plunger rod is scratched and the seal ring is aged and cracked, it needs to be replaced in time, otherwise it may cause pressure drop, leakage and other problems.

2. Lubrication system maintenance

According to the equipment manual, regularly add special lubricating oil to the pump body bearings and transmission parts to ensure smooth operation and reduce mechanical wear. Be careful to avoid using inferior lubricating oil to prevent oil pollution from contaminating the paint or clogging the oil circuit.

3. Filter cleaning and replacement

The filters at the feed inlet and spray gun need to be checked weekly, and impurities should be cleaned or the filter screen should be replaced in time. Filter blockage will lead to insufficient feed, unstable pressure, affect the spraying effect, and even increase the load on the pump body.

III. Long-term storage: Take good protection to avoid equipment aging

1. Thoroughly empty and dry

If the equipment is not used for a long time, the paint and solvent in the equipment must be completely emptied, and the pump body and pipeline must be rinsed with clean water or rust inhibitor to prevent internal rust. After cleaning, run it without load for 1-2 minutes to drain the residual liquid and ensure that the inside is dry.

2. Component disassembly and storage

Disassemble the spray gun, nozzle, high-pressure pipe and other removable parts, clean them separately and put them in a dry and ventilated tool box to avoid direct sunlight or humid environment. Anti-rust oil can be applied to the surface of the pump body and covered with dustproof cloth to reduce dust adhesion.

3. Regular power-on inspection

During storage, power on and run once every 1-2 months to allow the pump body and motor to run for a short time to prevent the parts from getting stuck or aging due to long-term static.

The core of high-pressure airless sprayer maintenance lies in "timely cleaning, regular inspection, and replacement as needed". Doing these details well can not only ensure the high efficiency and stability of the equipment every time it is used, but also reduce maintenance costs in the long run. If abnormal noise, sudden pressure drop, etc. are found during maintenance, it is recommended to contact professional maintenance personnel in time to avoid the expansion of small faults.
