Glass beads are high-performance, organic materials used in road marking applications. The specialized coating on these beads reduces surface adsorption of dust from the air, while the specific coupling agent improves cohesion with coatings and prevents tiny glass beads from sinking due to their flotation function. When applied, they float on the surface coating, providing a large reflective surface area that increases utilization by more than 30%. Reflective glass beads have become an irreplaceable material in road safety products.
