Glass Beads: Stable Durability & Standard Particle Size for Long-Term Road Markings

Glass beads are high-performance organic materials used in road safety applications. The specialized coating on these beads reduces surface adsorption of airborne dust, while the inclusion of specific coupling agents enhances cohesion with coatings. This prevents tiny glass beads from sinking into the coating due to their flotation function. When applied, they float on the coating surface, providing a large reflective area that increases utilization by over 30%. Reflective glass beads have become indispensable materials in road safety products.

We provide glass beads with various refractive indices including 1.53, 1.72, and 1.93. We can also supply glass beads meeting various national standards or customized to customer-specified size distributions.
